OATS 2012 A CROP FOR FOOD AND HEALTH
The 9th International Oat Conference will be held in Beijing, China, 20-23 June 2012. China has a long history of growing oats and is one of the important oat growers and consumers in the world. Beijing, the Capital of China, is not only the cultural and political centre of China, but also one of the greatest tourist attractions in the world. Among many wonders, Beijing has the Tian'anmen Square - the biggest central square, the Forbidden City - the largest and best-preserved imperial palace, the Great Wall - the longest manmade structure, and the Temple of Heaven - the largest sacrificial complex in the world, which attracts millions of visitors every year.
The Organizing Committee of the 9th International Oat Conference invites all oat researchers, growers, processors, nutrition specialists and those who are interested in oat research and development to participate in the Conference to share academic views, present research findings, exhibit their products, and develop collaborations. Participants will have the opportunity to visit oat experimental fields and the global variety trials, as well as sight-seeing in Beijing.
You are welcome to submit ideas and topics for selecting speakers at different sessions of the conference.
Exhibition space will be provided to participants who intend to showcase their oat products during the Conference.
The official language of the Conference will be English.
The organizing committee most kindly asks possible participants of the Conference to fill in the attached preliminary registration form. Please send it to the contact email address of the Organizing Committee no later than 31 March 2011.
